We had a great experience. They came out very quickly to unclog our sink and spent hours making sure everything was taken care of properly. The employees were extremely kind throughout the whole process.

We fought our Main drain on "our side" of the -City Sewer System- for a week with a hand snake. .. then another week with a hundred foot power snake .. then we called Tim's. An hour later we were back to flushing Clorox Wipes half a roll at a time. Thanks Tim.. I guess I'll see ya next year!

I’ve found that Tim’s Pipes are enjoyable to work with. They answer the phone and are very responsive. Their technicians are friendly and obviously very competent. However, I’m puzzled about their pricing. About a month ago, the technician arrived at our house before the need for a drain cleaning was determined to be necessary. The toilet was plunged repeatedly with no results. After a long phone conversation with Tim, it was determined that the issue was a clogged drain. The access to the drain is under the washing machine. Once that was moved, the drain cleaning encountered many roots and took a considerable amount of time. The technician was on site for at least two hours. The charge of $400 was very fair and appropriate. A few weeks ago, my daughter’s drain was backing up. I handled it for her because she is a 1st grade teacher and cannot meet service people during the day. The technician had clear access to the drain and ran into almost no obstructions. From the time he arrived until the time he was out the door was approximately 50 minutes. She was charged $400. Although she paid it, I honestly didn’t understand how these two service calls could possibly cost the same. If needed, I won’t hesitate to use them again, but as long as you asked……. Had an issue with our drain being plugged at home. Tim took the call, listened patiently, and explained what was most likely our issue. He had Greg at our house within an hour and a half. Greg was very professional and kind as well. You just don’t see customer service like this very often in the times we are in. Highly recommend these guys!!

Stone Plumbing recommended TPU for a bathtub drain issue. Tim replied to our call immediately, gave us an exact quote, and resolved the problem the next morning. Greg, the plumber that came out, was on time, courteous, patiently explained the work involved (old house, tricky fix), and carefully cleaned the work site before he left. We appreciate their professionalism and good work, highly recommended.

$500 for 5 mins to unclog a toilet on a weekend is what I classify as price gouging.

Tim came out and did a wonderful job hydro- jetting our old sewer line. Got rid of tree roots and scoped our line with a camera. We even got a flash drive, showing our clean sewer line! Friendly and professional, we highly recommend his services!

Very rude and high priced

Tim is our hero! My friends and I were at our cabin when we started having drain issues. He was there within two hours, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in no time. Couldn’t figure out how to fix a leak under my sink and they called and told me what I could do to try and fix the problem on my end to try and save the cost of a visit. When I told them that I was still having issues, they were here the same day within a couple hours of the call. Fixed the issue and let me know what was done so I know what to do next time. Super friendly and transparent.

Julie came out right away to unclog a drain at my cabin, just as thunderstorms were rolling in. Only one other company even answered the phone, but they were booked. Julie and Tim were so considerate and responsive, I would certainly call on Tim’s again.

I've had Tim out a couple of times when our drains were totally backed up. He got to us promptly and offered advice on how to avoid problems in the future. We had the problem reoccur a couple of days after his last visit and he totally stood behind his work-- his daughter Julia came out and fixed the issue with no additional charge.

(after calling to make sure it was OK) I want to say that Julia was professional, explained the process and reviewed the issues after she had completed the job. We called every company in Duluth and not a single person answered the phone. Even called their emergency lines and got zero answers. Called Tim’s company after hours and he answered immediately. My sewer was backed up in my basement. His daughter drove to Duluth right away. She’s very nice and professional. She ran the snake down the drain but discovered either my trap or pipe had failed. It came up with clay on it. She offered some remedies and ways to tackle it. We are now getting it fixed. I can’t thank them enough for coming down and helping out late in the day and helping. Very nice people and caring. She didn’t charge me and she knew it was bad news to receive and my wife and I were pretty stressed out. That was extremely nice of her. That’s just unheard of these days. I’m saving Tim’s phone number in my phone and won’t be googling for any other company in the future. And I will refer them to anyone I meet that has plumbing issues like mine. Again thank you very much.

I had an AMAZING service experience through Tim's Pipes Unplugged. It was 6am and we had sewer water was coming up our drains throughout our home. I called a 24 hr emergency plumbing service line and they took my info and told me a technician would call me back if available. Tim immediately called back and said he had a bit of time to come by and try to help. In less than 30 mins he was at my home fixing the issue (turned out to be a clog in our main piping that leads to the city sewer system - yuck!). Tim fixed the problem quickly and the rate was extremely reasonable, especially considering it was an emergency call before standard working hours. Would highly recommend!

I was struggling forever trying to snake my plugged sewer pipe and finally gave up and called TPU. Their crew came over right away and unclogged my drain and also cleaned out the entire drain pipe very quickly. We sure are pleased and highly recommend them!

Had a sewer pipe that was plugged. Tim was able to make a 40 minute drive and get it unplugged in less than 2 hours, his rate was very reasonable.

I was having trouble with ground water getting into my sewage basin, but only during periods of excessive rain or snow melt. Tim was able to come out quick enough (the same day I called) to catch the problem and trace the flow of groundwater back to the problem area...exactly what I needed. My kitchen drain was completely stopped; He was able to get here really fast (after business hours) and only charged the price he had quoted, which was actually less than he normally would have charged, even though it was way more work than he had originally quoted for. I’ll definitely go back to him for drain issues in the future! If you’re on the fence, hire him! 👍

This is the guy to go to for ANY drain issues large or small. We had issues with our main line being clogged around the Holidays and Tim was able to make it quickly for us and responded to all communication quickly. Tim was available on short notice to help with our main sewer line being clogged. After further investigation it was determined our main sewer line had collapsed. Tim worked for four hours trying to unclog the drain because he felt it wasn't collapsed. He put forth serious effort to help us determine it was really clogged. After Tim left we had an excavator and plumber come out and repair our collapsed pipe. We then called Tim back to verify the work that was done by the excavator. Tim was very clean and personable, he used drop cloths in the work area to help reduce the chance of damaging the carpet.
